This is an awful story, & one most people aren't aware of. 7 billion pounds of just ONE TYPE of non-recyclable plastic -- 'bisphenol A' -- is made a year, & incredible amounts of it & other plastics are ending up in the ocean, in a particle and glop stew that is wreaking havoc on wildlife. https://video.vice.com/en_us/video/garbage-island/563b9c912aab5c416bc75039
