Since our first show in June, 2015, when "Beauty Thru Decay" presented Mallory Massara's abstract steel work and Joe Harvard's photos, we've moved inexorably towards the dream of becoming an outdoor, black-light, trash-art gallery. We're really psyched that more and more folks are discovering the gARTen @ 713 Cookman, and showing their approval by taking photos, shooting videos and writing articles -- all of which help to capture the history of our project.

We love attention. So we've added a page to this site with links to stories, videos and photos, made in and about the gaRTen @ 713 Cookman, the "Beauty Thru Radiation" DayGlo "trash art" Joe creates to display in it, and the Asbury Underground events we participate in. In some we're mentioned, in others we're the focus of the piece, and we include pros and civilians alike.

Enjoy!

Help Us Turn Trash Into Art

We collect plastic from streets and sidewalks, beaches, lots and laundromat trash cans, clean it, repurpose it, paint it Day-Glo and display it in an outdoor gallery for the community to enjoy.
