Has it really been six months since Pat Schiavino at art629 Gallery invited us to our first gallery exhibit, and we had such a successful month spanning the Christmas and New Year's holidays as well as Asbury Underground / Light of Day Downtown? We've set up the Magic Tent a few times since, most notably at Art All Night 2017 in Trenton last month, but the gARTen -- and the head gARTener -- are itching for a new show.

Here's Billy Anania's excellent article, which our team couldn't be more pleased with, from January, 2017's Asbury Park Press. http://Black light exhibition on display at Asbury art gallery
It'll be hard to come close to the art629 Beauty Thru Radiation exhibit, though. I got two weeks to set up, with keys to the gallery and Pat's carte blanche to set up over 30 black lights, including 25 UV LED spotlights. Mallory Massara turned her trained eye to laying out over 130 pieces of my own Day-Glo and Glow-in-the-Dark painted, found-object "trash art", and a dozen of gARTen Sunday curator Mark Davis' works, and after very little adjustment and augmentation to her layout the show was ready.
Our opening was a blast -- it got pretty crowded, and we took commitments on several pieces that first night, eventually selling nine of my own and one of Mark Davis' works.
